Here is Will's latest Lego creation--a crocodile! He followed the directions and built this by himself yesterday. He is already breaking it apart to turn it into a dinosaur.

Venice
One Sunday this summer, Ellen attended the Stories in Art program at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC to learn about city-scapes and Italian painters. Then she used pastels to create this scene of Venice, Italy.

It amazes us that our little five-year-old takes an instruction manual the size of a magazine to his bedroom, and a few hours later, walks out with this:
